Short version: we only collect an email address if you give it to us for the newsletter, and we don't use tracking cookies.
Newsletter email
- Your email is used only to send the weekly Data Skills Index newsletter (plus the one-time confirmation email).
- Double opt-in: nothing is sent until you click the confirmation link we email you.
- Every issue has a one-click unsubscribe link.
- The list is stored with our email provider, Resend. We never sell or share it.
Analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies and without identifying you. There are no advertising or tracking cookies on this site.
Server logs
Our host (Vercel) processes standard request data such as IP addresses to serve the site and block abuse. Sign-up forms use your IP address briefly to rate-limit spam; we don't store it.
Job data
The index is built from public job postings and publishes aggregates only. It contains no personal information about applicants or employees.
